Sega says there won't be a 'triple-pack' promotion for Saturn this year, but there'll be some big pushes promoting Saturn games. $25 million has been allocated on advertising over the peak-season, including TV, print and post cards. There's also a direct mail to Saturn customers planned, as well as an email. In-store POP for sports and key advertised titles is also being lined up. Sega's sponsored events this year include MTV Extreme Sports & Music Festival, GT Bikes national tour. There's also promotions with Fox Kids TV plus "new soon-to-be announced titles for holiday and first quarter 98".
