Sega Super Sonic Spud Dive
In honor of Thanksgiving and the launch of Sega's new game, "Sonic R," Sega of America is sponsoring the outrageous "Sega Super Sonic Spud Dive." Sega wants to see how far people will go to win! Contestants can win thousands of dollars in cash and Sega prizes by plunging into our tank of more than 350 gallons of delicious and nutritious mashed potatoes!

When:
 Monday, November 24
12 -- 2 p.m. (sign up starts at 11 am),
Diving starts promptly at noon

Entrance Plaza
Beach St. and Embarcadero
San Francisco

Why:
 Industry analysts say this holiday season will be the biggest ever for the video game industry at more than $5.5 billion in sales. People will do just about anything to get their hands on video game products!

It is going to be messy! It is going to be wild! It is going to be a great visual!

To win, contestants must dive into a tank of mashed potatoes and swim around looking for Sonic's gold ring hidden in the mounds of spuds. The person who finds it the fastest WINS! The Sega Super Sonic Spud Dive is an ideal holiday story heading into Thanksgiving. Be sure to bring your cameras and some gravy! YUM!
