What is NiGHTS ?
Simply put, Nights is a video game. It is on CD format for the SEGA 32-bit Saturn system. It was created by Sonic Team, headed by Mr. Yuji Naka, whose intent was to exploit Saturn's power as full as possible at the time. It was initially released in America on August 20, and then more extensively on the 21st. Destined to be a smashing success, Nights has already begun replacing rival Super Mario 64 on Japanese top 10 lists, and is predicted to outsell even the previous Saturn blockbuster, Virtua Fighter 2.
Not so simply put, Nights is possibly the greatest video game of all time. It is a perfect example of how Saturn's 32-bits are plenty for creating top-quality games, and that CDs are a formidable platform when compared to the formally mainstream carts. Developed by the creaters of the ever-popular Sonic the Hedgehog, Nights is the brainchild of Mr. Naka, whose name is now quickly becoming as recognizable as that of Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto. Nights delivers revolutionary gameplay that is a joy to experience and never tiring. Not only will the new title sell to Saturn owners everywhere, but it will also spearhead a crushing marketing campaign for it's system and company, placing brand-new Saturns into the homes of happy video gamers everywhere.
