WD, no big deal

Personally, I do not know what the big deal is over the Sega/WD thing. It does not really matter if WD does not make any more games for the Saturn, because they never did in the first place. The only things that they were doing was translating Japanese games for the US. As long as some else picks up translating the games then that will be just fine with me. I have to admit the they did a very good job of bringing over games that we want, but I am sure that Sega or another company will do the translating will WD stop. The threat of Lunar form WD just makes me laugh, because it belongs to Gamearts, an even more loyal Sega company, and when was the last time WD actually made a game? For WD to bring Lunar for the Playstation, they would have to totally reprogram the game . Just think how long that is going to take when they are taking forever just to translate Albert Odyssey and Lunar. Just image how long it will take for them to totally reprogram a game, can we say more then a year? Just look from Sega's point of view, WD stabbed them in the back when WD decided to develop for the Playstation. What will your reaction be at E3, if WD were showing Playstation games in Sega's booth. One more thing, how cam WD claim that Raystorm is coming out for the Playstation and not for the Saturn, because the Playstation version is better when we all know that the Saturn is better suited for those type of games. Even if the Playstation version is better, why can't WD reprogram the Saturn version to be just as good as the Playstation version? Well here is the answer, they do not make the games, but translate them, and I am sure anybody else can do that. Just think about it , how hard is it to remix a hit old song and make it into to hit then starting from scratch. That is actually what WD is doing. I would love to see how they do from scratch.
