Saturn's Resurrection

ShowBob420@aol.comIs it me or does it seem like everyone thinks that Sega's judgment day is coming soon? The fact is that Sega is far from it. On the outside, Sega doesn't seem like they've been keeping their edge; I must admit that they have been pretty stupid with rushing new things out (e.g. The 32X or Sega CD), and they have been making some bad product decisions like the Netlink for the Sega Saturn (Who buys a Sega to browse the internet?). Besides bad decision making on behalf of Sega's execs, they are still great at one thing: and that's making blow the pants off the competition kind of games.
I was at the ACME (or ASI as it's known now) convention in Las Vegas. Basically I saw the cream of the crop of the upcoming Saturn games. Before I go any further, I have to say that Sega really outdid the competition. Namco, Nintendo and Sony were nothing compared to the amazing lineup of games I saw in the Sega area. I am confident that these games, headed up by just to name a few, Virtual Striker (soccer), Sega GT (racing) and World Series Baseball '98.
I have noticed over the years that Sega works to be the first out with the new technology; the Genesis was the only 16 bit system on the market for about 3/4 of a year. I'm expecting Sega to come out with a 128 system (so it has been rumored) by the end of next year. But until then, expect the Saturn to be making a comeback, or maybe even a resurrection.
