The ways of the Lord

I read such an unoptimistic situation for the Saturn. All owners are weeping over it like it was dead. It will die. Soon. But please, enjoy those last moments of happiness it brought to us. Look the new games, buy the classic ones. Those are moments to remember.

Many of us have said at least once "God, how I miss Space Invaders". Why? Because it is a good game, no matter how many years pass. It does not care if the Atari 2600 is dead. What really cares is if we got good memories from it. The Sega CD and 32X were excellent pieces of hardware, except for their cost vs. games.

We live in a technological world. The IBM XT died, the 286, 386, 486 died. They died but gave us a legacy of quality products that the newer generations will get in an improved version. The disappearance of a product does not means the failure of it.

Yes, there will be a new Sega system someday. How soon? I don't know. I really don't care. If the moments if offers are good, I'll have it and I'll change it for the next console after it, if I can afford it.

But please, don't interfere in the Ways of the Lord, because death is inevitable. Some die young (32X), some older and some die before seeing light (M2). It happens. The PSX and N64 will die, but surely our kids will have the legacy of Mario, Sonic and Whatever.
