Daytona USA CCE (Import)

Improvements to the japanese version of the game make the purchase of daytona cce well worth it.

These include

1. improved clipping on all tracks.The level of pop up is now about equal to the aracde and greatly improves the visula aspect of the game.Most noteable of the first track are these improvement. Also the replay no longer suffer from the bouts of dissapearing scenery that plagued the american version and the camera panning around the track looks allot better.

2. the texture mapps on various stages have been greatly improved. Most noteable is the dinosaur canyon track as the textures look very impressive now.

3.Link up mode is present. Two saturns can be linked directly via a cable.This is what all saturn owners(well sane ones anyway...), have been waiting for.. full screen link up.Net link is also available but stuff that.

4.As well as the remixed music from the american version the jap version has other remixed versions of the original music that include karoke singing as well.The tunes are quite catchy.

5. The original daytona car is still available, but now it is no longer able to bounce off barriers without speed loss and cannot drive on grass.This is cool as it now requires some skill to win with it.

6. The normal cars no longer suck the road like the did in the american version so the play mechanics are better with easier powerslides.. although not as good as the original daytona... but different enough to make playing the game something new

With all of the games graphical improvements it is the most impressive racer on the system and any system for that matter. overall 9\10
