Daytona USA CCE

Well it started off with the Legendary Arcade Daytona USA That was awesome.Then came the Saturn version which was pretty lame,choppy Graphics,extreme pop up,cruddy music,spoiled what could have been a great conversion.Now comes Daytona USA championship circuit Edition this is a like Daytona Remix or something.Its really cool with 2 new tracks 8 new cars and a 2 player split screen Finally,something the original didnt have.

There is less popup now there is a still a bit but hey even the Arcade has pop up,pop up doesnt bother me.The graphics Have Improved A great deal Running at 30 frames per second and that stupid black border in the original is gone The tracks are smooth and more colourful, the cars look cool each having there own characteristics making there driving styles different to each other.

The steering is a bit different to the original it seems easier to turn now but the old steering is just a tad better.

Is this game better than Sega Rally?well some people may prefer Sega Rally,But me i think that Daytona cce Is way Better it has more tracks more cars and i like the steering better and I think the graphics are Better.

The new music is Awesome it is clear and catchy.It is Remixed versions of the original Music Plus in the options you can choose different music for each track you can even choose the same music for each track, a bit like Need for Speed.

The two player split screen is cool but there is a fair bit of pop up on this mode a little bit more than the original but still little detail is lost.

GRAPHICS:9/10

the backgrounds are dynamic the cars look awesome very little pop up and the two new tracks look good,with moving back grounds such as Roller Coasters and trains etc.

MUSIC:9/10

great Rock music,Groovy Techno,classy jazz you get the picture,and you can choose your type of music and the volume.

SOUND EFFECTS:8/10

the growling Engine is Mega especially when your on the front bumper view an improvement over the original.And now you can understand what the man is saying Like "try to go easy on the car".But still his voice is Irratating at Times.

GAMEPLAY:9/10

This game is great fun especially now that theres two new tracks and Eight new cars.And two player split screen.

LONG LASTING:10/10

This game is hard to finish really hard which is good because you dont want a game that you can finish in one day.

OVERALL:9.5/10

An Exellent Driving Game!.If you own the original and are a fan GET THIS If like daytona at the arcade GET THIS If you like driving games GET THIS.Well thats enough from me Im going to play my copy.
