Dayton USA Championship Circuit EditionReview by: Jonathan Leung Daytona USA was one of the first games that was out when the Saturn was released in the spring of 1995. Even though the game had some problems, it was very entertaining and addicting. Now, Sega has released a "sequel" to Daytona CCE. Daytona CCE is good, but it could have been done a lot better. You all know the drill, beat every racer to win the race. Besides the three original tracks, there are two more added in CCE. There are more cars like the Oriole and Phoenix. There is a Arcade, Time Attack, and a 2-Player Mode, something that was missing from the original Daytona. It's got all the options, but what exactly is wrong with the game? The graphics have improved, but you can still see the pop-up graphics. The sound is better with some funky music thrown into the mix. The control is a little loose and will take some time to get used to. If the control was like the original Daytona, then the game would be a winner, hands down. The gameplay is still the fun part of the game. Overall, Daytona CCE is better than the original, but fans of the Daytona game will know that the game is far from perfect and could have been better. RATING: 8.7/10
