Dragon ForceReview by: Nick Robertson One thing you can say about this game is "addictive." You can't put the thing down.Whenever I have spare time I play this, and I play it for an hour and it seems like 20 minutes. Yes the game does have it's flaws, but it's one of the best rpg/srategy games for any system. Here's the deal: You are a monarch and you get to control generals who are in charge of their own troops. (I won't get into the plot because it will ruin it for you). You go around to other castles to try and conquer them. You control the generals and give orders to the troops. Sound fun, maybe not, but you have to play it to see for yourself how fun it is. It's kind of hard to explain, so if you don't trust my word, rent it first.
Graphics: 7/10
+ up to 200 troops on the screen with no slowdown
+ great-looking characters
+ great animation scenes
-- some won't like that they're sprites(doesn't bother me)
-- battle graphics can get tiresome after extensive play
Sound: 8/10
+ Great songs really set the mood
+ sfx clear
-- battle songs get repetitive
-- sfx get repetitve
-- no voices, would have been nice to hear battle cries
Gameplay: 10/10
+ very involving
+ fun fun fun
+ rpg "feel" adds to the plot of the strategy part
+ best time I've had with srategy since warcraft 2 for PC
-- eats away your time
-- don't get to control individual troops
Replay: 8/10
+ with eight generals, you can play 8 times with different
storylines
Overall: 9.5/10
This is a great game. Perfect for straegy and rpg fans, but if you're
not, then this might change your mind
