Enemy Zero
Story: The story in the game is pretty lame; your in outer space and you must save yourself from invisible aliens. I mean its an o.k. story but theres no explanation on why your out there or how the aliens even got on the ship. O well at least you get to play as WARPS Lara. Graphics:7/10 Why is it that this game is in the little window that D was in. Warp uses TruMotion and I've seen it do better (ex: Gun Griffon, Virtual ON), but then again it sorta makes it cinematic and I like that. The movie moves really smooth and so does the corridors. Now that I've mentioned the corridors there in the window of the movie, but i can see why they do this. I figure they did it because it would be odd going from windowed video to full screen action back to windowed video (Did you catch all that?). Control:8/10 The Control is perfect in the corridors; you actually have a lot of control in them. You can strafe, look up, look down and just about do everything else but jump. For some reason the control in the video parts is a little slow, meaning that you press the button and it does what you asked it to a second later. Its not a real big deal but something worth pointing out. Plus the game uses the analog control. Music/Sfx:9/10 The music is good (theres not much so I'm not gonna talk about it). The sound fx are really good. I mean when you hear the sound of the monster nearing you (it was done with a piano) and all the sounds like the door openings to her foot steps are perfectly done. O ya I almost forgot, the singer from that Jackson group is the voice of Lara (not the Jackson 5, but the group of about 5 white women). Overall: 8/10 Its a really good game but trying to shoot the aliens is a bitch and the video should have been in a bigger window. Well, I would still recommend this game to anyone who liked D (that's the reason i bought it).
