Graphics 6.0/10

The colors are heavy (even heavier than SF), and the backgrounds are okay, but the sprite movement is SO ROUGH! SNK should be ashamed of themselves for producing something like this! Everything from the menu to the game to the ending all has rough movement.

Playability 6.0/10 The character's movement is so rough and so hard to control. A person who is accustomed to Street Fighter, would find Fatal Fury 3 a challenge to control and master. The loading signs take an approximately 15-20 seconds to load, probably one of the longest in 32-bit CD history.

Sound 7.0/10

The BGM is good and loud. The voices are also okay. With voice acting from seiryuu (voice actor) legend Kappei Yamaguchi (Ranma 1/2) nothing less than perfect is expected.

Hardness 9.5/10

The game should have been easy. But with the rough controls? It takes the game more time to be mastered than Street Fighter.

Lastability 5.0/10

Ugly game. The only reason to finish this game again, is because of the "save game" feature, which allows you to start at the stage of your choice. Sometimes, you just have to finish the last boss over and over again if you want to hear the beautiful song at the end.

Overall Rating: 5.6/10

Bottom Line: Not good. SNK should see how Capcom does their work.
