I actually had never played this game before. I saw Fighting Vipers in magazines as an arcade game and as a Saturn game. I bought it Nov. 5th and I was blown away! I loved Sega AM2's Virtua Fighter games and they pushed VF2's abilities far beyond for this one. The characters are really cool (Kumachan the piņata is funny) and the stages are original. The fences and bars add a hard-core element to the game. The modes are cool, like hyper mode, where you can throw off your armor and go super-fast. I give this game a 9. The game has one problem, the fence disappears from some angles. Otherwise, it's an instant hit!
