I read the reviews on this page and have come to the conclusion that this game is highly u-n-d-e-r-r-a-t-e-d.

I bought this game today for $22 (which by the way is usually no more than $35 dollars at most stores, actually its commonly found on sale), and I am truly impressed.

The gameplay is great and the graphics are superb. Complaints about the controls are valid, but after about 20 minutes of play- they come easily. It also helps if you read the instructions instead of just pop it in and playing.

The game itself does invoke meories of MECHWARRIOR 2 for the PC, except that the terrains are more realistic and the controls are easier, I mean it sure is cool to be able to control movement on a controller instead of using a joystick and the keyboard(but i guess that is the beauty of console games).

Do yourself a favor and go buy this game, it will entertain you. The graphics, gameplay, sound and "fun-factor" are all superb. I am truly surprised that this game is not as popular as some other games on the market.

For the ratings hounds:

Graphics- 9.5 ( a little grainy when extremely close, but its a video game not a picture)

Gameplay/Control- 9.5, just give it 20 mins, okay.

Fun- 10, you gotta love blowing the hell out of just about everything!

Sound- 10, The sound is dead on, excuse the pun.

Overall- I guess it averages out to 9.75

BOTTOM LINE: go buy this game, hey its half the price of some other games which truly are overrated and basically all hyped up. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED*. *unless your hate mechs, blowing stuff up and a lot of explosions.
