Gridrunner

I must say that my first impression of Gridrunner was good. The graphics and music are top notch. I found it to be fun and much different than the usual games released. However, after playing gridrunner (single player) for about an hour I became tired of it but looked forward to playing against a friend. It wasn't until the next day that I was able to get back to it with a friend. We took turns each playing seperately to become familiar with the controls. Then took a go at a match. This is where I found the game to be flawed. There was so much slowdown while playing in the split screen mode that we both became disgusted and turned the game off. While Gridrunner can still be enjoyed by one player it seems to be designed primarily as a multi-player game and cannot be enjoyed as such. Therefore I cannot recomend this game to anyone looking for a two-player game.
