SOUND: 10/10 I mostly only play this game to listen to music for a while.... The hardcore soundtrack to this game is a great bashing chorus to the gritty graphics and sounds of exploding bodies. But don't be fooled. If you're picking up this game as a "Pop Will Eat Itself" fan, be warned that only three of the game audio tracks are by the band.... GRAPHICS: 9.5/10 The lighting effects on this sucker are great! Very moody dark colors for backgrounds with character effects in cartoony primary colors, the whole game seems like a Simon Bisley painting come to life. Sometimes it's hard to see your character, however. Some weapons create smoke effects, so with the flash of muzzle fire, smoke effects, explosions, enemy fire and running bodies, it's easy to get lost in the mix. Also, even though the game gives you multiple players to pick from, with the overhead camera-angle, makes everybody look the same. GAME PLAY: 8/10 The gameplay isn't very deep. It's one of those fire, fire, fire, fire games. But an interesting mix is added by the labyrinth mazes on every level. They're big and twisted and since you have to find color coded keys to get into each different wing, you'll find yourself back tracking a lot through areas you've already been through. The levels are just large and confusing enough to keep you interested. REPLAY VALUE: 6.3/10 Ugh! The final boss had such a big build-up in the game and in the manual, I expected so much more.... But when I got to him... he was just a sprite swap of the other enemies in the game. Same size and everything. Plus the Game completed animated movie not only looked bad, but was all of eight seconds long! The feeling I got after finishing the game was "That's it?" OVERALL: 8.4/10 Not a very hard-thinking game, but a good choice for spending about ten minutes blowing stuff up, watching pretty blinking lights and listening to music that sounds great turned up loud.
