To start off I'd like to say that this game was a total disappointment for the Saturn, my favorite game platform. If it doesn't drive you nuts you have a deffective copy. The loading time is unbearable compared to any MK game I've played thus far. When you perform any old special move you will be suspended from the game for about three seconds. Fatalities and all other finishers are even more annoying. The stages take about a week to come out as each match starts, and there's even slowdown for the "Finish Him/Her" word. On the other hand, the graphics are arcade-perfect and you finally get to see Shang Tsung laugh after he beats you. The controls are great, just like any Saturn fighting game. Each character has all their voices, groans, etc. and Shao Kahn all his taunts. But sounds are nowhere near perfect here. There are about twenty original sounds missing, like the Deadpool's splash. The fatality music (as well as all the other finishes) take 1/2 of your lifetime to come out or they don't come out at all. Overall this game is a fraud.
