Star Fighter 3000 Review by: Rogue Leader The good news: I paid 10 bucks for this game, made 11 bucks by rebates/selling it. The Bad news: I had to play it for a few weeks!!! I got this game bsically for free by taking advantage of the sega rebate, so not only did I get my ten bucks back, I made eleven on top of it ($15 Rebate + I sold it for $6), plus I got to play it for a little while, unfortunately. Let me start by saying- THE GRAPHICS SUCK, THE CONTROLS SUCK, THE MUSIC SUCKS, THE GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever actually likes this game should be checked into a mental home, on second thought anyone who even looks at the box should go because of mental trauma from seeing a game so bad. For anyonwe who cares (of which I know noone) The game opens with a long boring grainy FMV sequence that is way too drawn out with repetitive music. You find out you're a test pilot in a space combat simulator, wow what a cool story. That's not what this game focuses on though, it focuses on gameplay, what in hell were they thinknig?!! You start with bad graphics, mixed with music with lyrics like "I been on a planet ma", coupled with maddening controls, and overall you want to shoot yourself for actually putting this lump of crap into your wonderful saturn. Do not look at this game and if someone offers it to you for free say NO, sternly! It just may turn the most avid videogame fanatic off games for life. It makes you wonder what the hell these companies and game designers are thinking when they put their name on crap like this. I give this game a -1 out of 10.
