X-Men Children of the Atom is a near perfect arcade translation of the Capcom arcade game. X-Men features 10 playable characters, along with two bosses and a secret hidden character Akuma. Each of the characters have some extremely lethal moves at their disposal, which happen to be visually impressive as well. While it may be missing a few frames, the character animation is very good and fluid, although not quite up to the quality of Night Warriors. The backgrounds are amazing, easily surpassing both Night Warriors and Street Fighter Alpha. The sound is basically a direct port of the arcade's sound, which is not necessarily great. With the music and voices both being average to good. The fantastic gameplay is 100% intact, with all of the special moves, super jumps, air blocks, and multi-hit one button combos. I love this game, it is easily one of the best 2-D fighters available for any home system, and it comes highly reccommended for a purchase, if you like fighting games, of course.
