Play as APPLI from Ken Ko
To play as APPLI in 1P mode, beat the game on easy (you have 8 credits to continue, and I only used up 3 before I finished the game). Then go to the options screen when you start your 2nd game, and you will be able to select as Appli.

Toggle Explosions from Ken Ko
If you beat the game on Normal level, there will be a selectable option in the options screen where you can "toggle" or turn off explosions (so you would be less confused with all the dazzling graphics). The advantage of beating the game on Normal difficulty the first time is that you also get the Appli code as well. This is automatically saved in the Saturn's memory.
