Jeffry McWild. The Australian fisherman is back for the third tournament in order to win the grand-prize
money so he can purchase a new boat and challenge his shark nemesis, which all but destroyed
his last boat. Jeffry's Pancratium fighting style continues to intimidate his opponents.
He's arguably the strongest character in the game.
Kage Maru. Entering the tournament for a third time in hopes of discovering an explanation to the mysterious
disappearance of his mother and the assassination of his father, nothing will stand in his way now...
not even his previosly shouded identity. Kage's main advantage has always been his great speed
and the accuracy of his attacks.
Lau Chan. The former champion of the first Virtua Fighter tournament, Lau Chan continues to
be a character of choice at the arcades due to his relatively quick and confusing style of Koen-Ken
fighting. Hovever, stiffer competition from younger opponents (including his own abandoned daughter,
Pai) may yet prove to be his undoing in this one.
|
Lion Rafale. Of a wealthy French descendent, Lion Rafale continues trying to prove to his father that he is owrthy of teh Rafale last name.
Undaunted, Lion continues to bewilder his opponents with his strange, but effective Tourou-ken
art of fighting. Lion works well played as an offensive fighter, utilizing blistering speed to
his advantage.
Pai Chan. Abandoned by her father at a young age and swearing revenge on him for her mother's
untimely death, Pai is always training and learning new techniques to knock Lau off the championship
throne. Pai's Ensei-ken fighter style is very similar to that of her father's, with them both sharing
many special moves together. And with her father out of the way, who knows who might be next.

Sarah Bryant. Sarah seems to have developed the Cammy syndrome -- she has been kidnapped by an unknown
underground crime organization in hopes of brain washing her to fight and defeat her
brother, Jacky, in battle. Sarah has the potential to do it too, as very little can stand in the way of her
ferocious Leg Kick.
|
Shun Di. A long time master of the Drunken style art of Kung Fu, Shun decided it was time
to teach all the whippersnappers out there a trick or two, by emerging from his hermit
status in the mountains and joining the tournament. Don't be fooled by his seemingly lack of
concentration during a match or you'll quickly find yourself on your back.
|
Taka-arashi. The second of two newcommers to the tournament, Taka-arashi gives all fans
of the sumo style of wrestling something to cheer about. In the game he plays
very similar to that of Ganryu from the Tekken series with his Open Palm Lunging
attacks. He's a powerful character indeed.
|
Wolf Hawkfield. Eager to do battle once again with his newly acquired rival, Akira, Wolf Hawkfield is the all
Canadian pro-wrestler with the power and technique to prove it. His Giant Swing remains one of
the most loved moves in the game. If you were named after two predatory animals wouldn't you
fell hostile too?
